Between the 17th and 19th of April Elysium Lab had the honor of participating in TechChill 2024 held in Riga, Latvia. Out of 388 applications from 57 countries, Elysium was selected as one of the top 50 semi-finalist startups for this enlightening event.

The event was organized at Hanzas Perons, a historic venue that is a renovated Riga cargo railway warehouse, now serving as the site for various events fostering an environment of innovation and technology, perfect for TechChill.

Immersed in the energetic vibes of the event, Aron Clementi, Elysium’CEO, had the opportunity to pitch in front of an investment jury, effectively conveying our vision at the event that represents innovation and entrepreneurship.

TechChill 2024 is a meeting point for entrepreneurs, industry players and visionaries that are shaping the future of technology. The event highlighted key themes including cyber defense, drones and how these new technologies impact contemporary conflicts, Ukraine’s ecosystem resilience and Artificial Intelligence solutions. Additionally, emphasis was placed on the innovation landscape of the Baltic region, highlighting the potential of these regions in emerging as European technology and innovation hubs. Even if often underrated, they have strong potential and, in a decade, they might be the next leaders for technology and innovation in Europe.

Beyond its thematic focus, TechChill is a center of connections, not only for scouting investors or clients, but for fostering genuine relationships. Engaging, sharing, and interacting with others are at the heart of this event, which can lead to create valuable collaborations.

Aron not only made meaningful connections from a professional point of view, but also shared personal experiences with other entrepreneurs and founders, from different backgrounds and cultures. It is often the unplanned meetings that leave the most significant impact.

Our main takeaway from Tech Chill is to recognize the significance of engagement and networking across different industries, to exchange insights, and value human connections! In a landscape driven by innovation and competition, authentic interactions are what truly enrich and add value.
