What is the story of Elysium Lab's vision, and why does it exist?

Elysium Lab is a Swiss startup in the Fintech & Blockchain field born in early 2022 from one big vision: to make blockchain technology and Digital assets more accessible and secure to everyone.

For most of the Elysium team, the story began in 2016, having been among the first to enter the messy and confusing cryptocurrency market. On the one hand, there were extreme difficulties, scandals, discouragement, market crises, scams, and memories of people making fun of us for being too nerdy.

On the other hand, we were, along with many others, pioneers of what had all the potential to be the best technological revolution since the Internet, the disruptive new technology.

And like any technology, it cannot be an end in itself and must be helped in its growth, improvement, and adoption.

Making Startups and launching a venture is not easy and never will be, but Aron Clementi, the founder, believed that with patience and dedication, the project could come to life and create a real impact (back in 2021, when any project, even without foundations, took off).

After a period of discouragement in 2021, Aron decided that he would help make this nerdy innovation everyone’s innovation for decades to come. He left everything behind to devote himself to the project.

So he created a team, person by person, a family of passionate and ambitious professionals who make Elysium a special place, wrote the business draft, and brought in partners to gain credibility. From there, Elysium took shape after time, and his vision was etched into the DNA.

The team started from friends, blockchain, crypto, and IT communities; Aron met Gianmarco Guazzo on Telegram since he followed him on Linkedin, where he posted tech articles. Being a true blockchain expert who later became the Co-Founder of the technology and CTO ( and a great friend) to make Elysium unique in the market. Or Ilaria Stirpe, the CMO, met through Web3 events in Lugano, one of the best-known Growth hackers, who fell in love after critically looking at the project. In short, each team member has a story to tell. And you will get to know them all along the way.

With a team of more than 8 professionals, we have achieved remarkable milestones, such as federal funds for research and development, market validation in Fintech, CyberSecurity, and Business Strategy, and further opportunities for international expansion.
We are working with the Swiss Innovation Agency, Swiss Blockchain and Startup associations, Startup challenges, universities, and US-based companies.

Also succeeding in being selected in recent days (August 2023) by tenity.com Batch 11 in Zurich, a globally renowned Fintech accelerator, where only 11 Early stage Startups from around the world can be funded and supported.

This is the story of Elysium, but it does not end here. We have worked quietly for a long time, building a solid foundation, and now we are ready for exposure. Soon, we will start testing our product in the market, and we look forward to growing the project and realizing its vision.

What does Elysium mean?

“Elysium” refers to a paradise in Greek mythology. It symbolizes a state of perfect happiness and eternal bliss. The 2013 film “Elysium” it’s a space habitat that symbolizes wealth and inequality, with the elite living in luxury while the poor suffer on Earth. Those themes can be metaphorically related to concepts like Bitcoin and blockchain, which challenge traditional power structures and economic divisions.
